Eric Sublett is the man to go to for those who want to know the REAL STORY! of Knoxville. The artist's story, and, the evolution of that story in this city. I propose that Eric submit his thoughts on the aesthetic of Knoxville. Is there a defined aesthetic to this city? If a stranger were to enter the city, say at the airport, how would he or she know that they were in Knoxville. What visual clues would there be.
How would people be dressed? How would they speak, etc.? What is the culture of Knoxville? Is there one or many? I might have some questions for him soon. Let's see about an interview.
